Debt collection harassment is rampant. It’s nerve-wracking. And it’s illegal. Unfortunately, most people don’t know about their rights when it comes to debt collector abuse.
Lemberg Law wants to stop debt collection harassment and educate consumers about their rights. The firm is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a student who is inspired to learn more about a consumer’s legal rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and to share their newfound knowledge with the public.

Who are we looking for?
- Students who want to educate the public about their rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, AND
- A high school senior (Class of 2016) who plans to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the U.S. during the 2016-2017 school year, OR
- An undergraduate student who will be enrolled full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the U.S. during the 2016-2017 school year
